Leaves are the part used. This is a warming herb. It has many properties a few are: Anti-inflammatory, Anti-microbial, Antispasmodic, Astringent, Decongestant, Diaphoretic & Expectorant. This herb should not be used during pregnancy or lactation. Caution is advised for children under 30 months due to the risk of the laryngospasm. Suggested use: bath, infuled oil, poultice, steam inhalant, tea, tincture.
