Leaf & flowering tops are used from this herb. It is cooling, drying and warming. It’s properties consist of: Anthelmintic, Anti-rheumatic, Anti-bacterial, Anti-parasitic, Diaphoretic & Emmenagogue to name a few. This herb can be used as an elixir, infusion, poultice, salve, tincture, powder and juice. If a person has hypersensitivity to plants in the Asteraceae family one should proceed with caution. This herb should not be used during pregnancy due to it’s uterine stimulating activity. Woodworm should not be taken longer than 3-4 weeks.
